Pottery has been a lifelong passion, and my roots run deep in Galveston, where my family has lived for generations and where I’ve always felt at home. I discovered clay while in college at Texas Tech, was instantly hooked, and—after a 40-year corporate career—now devote myself full-time to creating functional ceramics inspired by everyday life.
Beyond making, I love sharing the joy of clay through teaching. My goal is to offer a welcoming, supportive studio where beginners and experienced potters alike can explore, learn, and create at their own pace.

“David is a wonderful teacher, he is very patient and genuinely cares about his students. He has helped me significantly improve my skills as a potter.”
